Young Adult Event

Young adults ages 18 to 30 are invited to attend a Young Adult After Party on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

This event is held in conjunction with FamilySearch’s RootsTech event. Elder Kevin S. Hamilton of the Seventy and Sister Kristin M. Yee, Second Counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency, will share a message followed by live music, dancing, a service project, and family discovery activities.

Stake Choir Practice

The choir will be practicing for our upcoming Stake Conference!

Please come and join us in song, we need your time and talents. We especially need brethren to come join us to even our number out.

The songs we are learning are about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Singing together is a wonderful way to worship and show your love for the Lord.

Stake Choir Practice will be held at the Stake Center:

Every Sunday in January from 4:30-5:30pm

Sunday Feb 4th from 4:30-5:30pm

YW Oakcrest Kickoff Meeting

YW Oakcrest Kickoff Meeting

The kickoff will be held in the Stake Center Relief Society room for all eligible young women, their parents and young women leaders.

Payment and Registration:
Note that young women/parents will be asked to pay $115 toward the cost of camp. The Stake will pay the remaining $115. Parents will be instructed to turn payments into their ward with a tithing envelope. Once all payments have been received, the Stake will cut a check for the total.

Our Stake will attend Oakcrest from Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19, 2024. The online registration link will be shared at Oakcrest Kickoff.

Registration and payment is due Friday, February 23rd by 8pm.

Eligibility:
Please note that Oakcrest eligibility has been extended this year! Any young woman with a birth date which falls between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2012 is eligible to attend Oakcrest 2024. In addition, any young woman with a birth date which falls between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010, and who did not attend Oakcrest last year, may also register.

*If a young woman finishing 6th grade attends this year, it will not make her ineligible to attend again during her regularly scheduled year at the end of 7th grade.
