Service Opportunity

This last August during the United Nations event a service project in conjunction with Feeding Children Everywhere was completed. JustServe was able to help with the need for volunteers, around 4000, to help the project be successful. Many meals were assembled to help the poor.

This years Silicone Slopes Tech Summit will be held Jan. 27-Jan. 31, 2020 and a similar service project will be happening. They will need help with volunteers as well.

Many members of the community have expressed desire to help so the project is posted on the JustServe website. Here is information regarding JustServe.org and the “Fight Hunger With Silicon Slopes” project:

  • There are many wonderful opportunities for service listed on JustServe.org.
  • Working in partnership with JustServe and community organizations and businesses, the “Fight Hunger With Silicon Slopes” service project will be held in conjunction with the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit January 30-31 in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.
  • One million meals will be assembled and packaged with partner, Hunger Fight, and shared with the Utah Food Bank for distribution to those in need within the state of Utah.
  • Those attending the Tech Summit will be invited to participate in the project but – because of its scale – anyone else who would like to participate is also invited.
  • Those interested in participating can go to the following link on the JustServe website to sign up: https://www.justserve.org/projects/5ea93258-9d16-402e-b343-2d2247a741d0
