WARD FAMILY HISTORY WALL

John William Bell was born in Spanish Fork, Utah in 1870. His father George had joined the church in Durham, England and came to Utah as a young man. Their party was directed by Brigham Young to help settle Spanish Fork. John worked road construction as a young man. At the age of 32 he married Margaret Ellen Bowen in the Salt Lake Temple. To be home with his family, he bought a farm North of Spanish Fork. Jack and Maggie, as they were known, had six children together. One of those children was my Grandfather, Lynn Bell. Jack’s mortal life was cut short when he died of food poisoning at the age of 51.
